My Turn to Rise and Shine–by Pastor Wole Oladiyun

,

My turn to Rise and Shine, is a statement from a desperate soul, a determined soul. A statement of “It is now or never.” For all those who are
tired of operating in the land of painful hardship and oppression, those who want all grueling, toiling, losses, unfaithfulness, delay and
stagnation to cease, this life-changing prayer book is just for you. I encourage you to dutifully go through the spiritual exercises wholeheartedly, with high expectations, trusting God to be God towards
you.

Joseph demonstrated faithfulness unto God (Genesis 39). He suffered for it and was jailed. At the end of it all, God honoured his faithfulness, and
he was divinely lifted from the prison to the palace. For you to arise and shine, your faithfulness to God in adversity matters a lot. Many people are
still not able to rise because of some unfaithfulness challenging their rising up in the spirit realm. Until that unrighteous act/vice is done away with, your eagle’s wings are clipped, never to soar high. Turn a new leaf today. Remember Jeremiah 5:25: Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.
Dare to be another Joseph and your rising is guaranteed by God Himself.
Another man who refused to compromise was Daniel. In Daniel 1:1-9, Daniel refused the dainties of the king and stood his ground. And his star
out-shone everyone else’s even in the firmament of Babylonian captivity.

Be a Daniel and you will arise and shine.
Father Abraham did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief (Romans 4:19-21). He was fully persuaded that what God had promised,
He was able also to perform. For you to arise and shine, unbelief must not be found in your heart and dictionary. You must trust God to the point of
“If I perish I perish.” May the Lord depend on you in Jesus name.

For you to arise and shine, you must not murmur against God. Brother Job was asked by his wife to curse God and die (Job 2:9-10) but he refused
and stood his ground having unshakeable trust in God, in spite of his overwhelming circumstances. Job’s latter days was more glorious than
his former. Learn to take grace to praise God in times of trouble; God is mindful of your reactions. Please take time out to meditate on 1 Samuel
2:3 always: Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogance come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him
actions are weighed.

Jabez prayed and rose from minimum to maximum. Blind Bartimaeus was desperate in prayer and his status changed. Hannah prayed to the point of being mistaken for a drunken woman. You must pray desperately. Your case may require vigils for as long as the Spirit of God leads you. Please set time aside to pray. Listen! The distance between your problem and solution is the distance between your knee and the ground.

When you kneel to pray, you will stand taller than any problem. As you go through this 7-day word and prayer vigil, trust God, be expectant, put in
your heart, believe that with an enough-is-enough spirit in you, it is your turn to arise and shine, in Jesus name.
